Living a life with Boundaries, it can be so hard.
I recently read an article in Weavings by Robert Corin Morris, that really got me thinking about the boundaries that God gives us, our parents give us and the world gives us. Some how the idea that these boundaries are being broken down daily by humans is painfully destructive to us as children of God.I especially like the idea that God has placed boundaries on Himself too. That He also knows that in order to live lives of worth we need those boundaries.
Restraint and freedom do go together. Without restraints we tend to wander in the wrong direction. Just as sheep who need a shepherd, as Jesus spoke about in John 10:(27-30 ) "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one."
I do not mean to ramble, but sometimes it is hard to put in words my thoughts. I hope you can bare with me and follow along as I post. I enjoy sharing with my fellow sisters and brothers in the Lord.
