“In the morning, O LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation” (Psalm 5:3-4 NIV)
When I read this Psalm this morning I liked the first part, but the second part gave me second thoughts, I hardly ever begin my day with requests, usually it goes something like this;
Good Morning Father, thank you for this most beautiful day.
You see, God does have my day already planned for me, what I do with it is up to me. It doesn't matter if the sun is shinning or the rain is falling. Today will be the day which the Lord has made, and I Will rejoice and be glad in it.
